Rule of Law

Hmm.... USA has taken a keen interest in the Anwar sodomy case. Condoleezza Rice says that it is not just a Malaysian internal affair. USA, she claims, would like to see the rule of law. Sounds very serious.

But what the heck happened to Guantanamo Bay? Didn't a ouple fo courts in the USA ruled that was illegal? The Rule of Law indeed. It is more like the rule of the lawless, unless of couse, it is not to USA's favour.

Anwar Ibrahim. What would I think of him. He is nothing more than being a politician and he is indeed BN's best friend. Yup, you heard it right. He is the government's good friend. Because of Anwar kicking up a storm against the government, all we hear about his him and someone's ass. Tell me, which of the following do you see recently in the headlines?
  • Debate by Anwar?
  • What happened to the Lingam case?
  • Anwar suing the IGP?
  • What happened to the Selangor Exco's Wife Club which transferred millions the day after their hubbies lost their elections?
  • IGP counter sues Anwar?

Because of the Anwar case, so many serious wrong-doings of the government has been temporarily forgotten. Where the C4 explosives from the Razak case come from? How about the follow up on Judges for Sale? Or cases for sale? I recall Lingam's former staff providing evidence that even the judgement was writen for the judge.

But alas... everyone is more interested in one former BN politician, allegedly screwing another guy. Bugger. Wish someone in the USA would say... we would like to see the Rule of Law... let's finish of Lingam and Company. Too bad. No one was buggered in those cases!
